Gabby Chaves gets a 2015 Indycar ride

Congratulations to Gabby Chaves.
The 2014 Indy Lights Champion secured a 2015 Indycar ride with Bryan Herta Racing.

Gabby talks with Robin Miller in last season about his hopes to make it to Indycar in 2015.

The thing we found most interesting about Gabby Chaves racing career is that his first race was with his mom when she ran in a spec series in Chaves' native Columbia before she knew she was pregnant with Gabby.

2015 Indycar Open Seats

Even though the Indycar season is just a few weeks away (Yay),
there are still quite a few open seats for the 2015 season.

The teams with the open seats are...

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports:

Since Pagenaud left to join Penske, James Hinchcliffe, now driving for SPM, needs a team mate.

Andretti Autosport:

With James Hinchcliffe gone, Andretti needs a fill-in for the fourth car, and they are also looking to have a fifth car if they can find sponsorship

Target Chip Ganassi Racing:

TCGR still looks to fund a fourth entry, and there are plenty of candidates out there.

Dale Coyne:

There are still two seats open at Dale Coyne Racing

KV Racing

The team is looking for a teammate to run alongside Sebastien Bourdais for the 2015 season.

and there is no shortage of drivers looking to fill those seats.
