Do you remember your first Indy 500?

Our mom still hasn't gotten over not being there when Mario Andretti won the Indy 500 in 1969.   She was 10 months old and mammy and pappy thought she was too young to go, and she's been rooting for an Andretti to win ever since.

So, mom made it a point that we all went to our first race before our first birthdays.

In 2002, at 7 months, we have to admit that we really didn't care that Helio Castroneves
became the first back to back 500 winner since Al Unser in 1970 and 1971.

In 2001, we were technically at Helio's first win too.
And it was a little loud on the front stretch in our mom's belly.

Alex was excited to see Scott Dixon win the 2008 race.
